U.S. Border Patrol Virtual Career Expo

Celebrating 100 Years of Service

Diverse Opportunities for Diverse Talent

U.S. Border Patrol (USBP) offers meaningful career opportunities in law enforcement serving a mission to protect our country's borders and facilitate legitimate trade and travel, providing life-saving humanitarian aid to those in need. It's a challenge that requires both courage and compassion and one that USBP has risen to for the last 100 years. Complete your registration today. Whether you are an experienced law enforcement professional looking for a career change, or you are thinking about law enforcement for the first time, this event will inform you and our recruiters' stories will inspire you!

REGISTER BY APRIL 11 to gain access to the event lobby several days early. Browse videos, booth content, application links, FAQs, and other resources. Then attend on April 17 to listen as our team members share insights about life with USBP, their duties and experiences, as well as federal benefits and the hiring process, in live broadcasts throughout the event.

Enter the Expo at any time between 11 a.m. and 5 p.m. ET to attend any of our live webinar broadcasts and browse the booths. The first two hours of the event will likely be the busiest, so you may want to wait until later in the day to sign up for a 1-to-1 chat with a recruiter.

Our Virtual Career Expo is an informational recruitment event; no interviews will be held, nor job offers made. Learn about our hiring process and more by attending; our recruiters and professional staff will be available to answer questions.

USBP is a component of U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP), one of the world's largest law enforcement agencies. Federal hiring regulations apply to all CBP positions. At a minimum, U.S. Citizenship is required. Comprehensive information for specific positions is available HERE.

In October of 2022, CBP joined the 30x30 Women in Law Enforcement effort as part of a larger framework for our agency to improve the recruitment, retention, representation and experiences of women officers and agents. Working with 30x30 continues to help us identify, understand, and address the obstacles in the recruiting and retention of women for law enforcement positions.
