• Support SPFH and heads by testing design solutions to improve cost, quality, and performance
• Coordinate, execute and document field test plans in cooperation with Zweibrucken Product Engineering
• Manage and prioritize test activities to meet project schedules and R&D budgets including coordination with contract test technicians
• Be responsible for remote test site administration duties including managing the shop, vehicles, tools and equipment

Senior Electrification Application Engineer - Cary, North Carolina

You will work on Electrification product engineering across Small Ag & Turf Production systems, define system requirements and then design the system including vehicle integration in support of product line Product Development Process (PDP), Technology Development Process (TDP), and Continuous Improvement (CI), and verify system functional requirements and validate system performance and customer acceptance. You will also...

• Lead electric drive project work in support of product line PDP & TDP and for EL CI.
• Work with the platform engineers to define and develop the engineering requirements of electric drive systems, including design life and duty cycle, and gains approval of requirements.
• Develop the system design as a combination of power generation, batteries, and actuators with sensing, communication, and power distribution.  Then integrates the system into the vehicle.
• Conduct functional test planning for lab and vehicle, execution of plan for verification of performance.

Structures Engineer - Dubuque, Iowa

• Design structures and sheet metal solutions for battery electric vehicle platforms
• Collaborate with cross-functional team members to ensure solutions meet manufacturability, performance, cost and life goals
• Lead BOM creation, print and workflow throughout the product delivery process.
• Benchmark internal and external structural solutions for battery electric vehicle platforms

Precision Construction Systems Engineer, Motor Graders - Dubuque, Iowa

You will lead the development and integration of systems for grade control, motion measurement, vision, and object detection capabilities on the Deere Motor Grader platform. In addition, you will... 

• Define technology features and coordinate with internal and external stakeholder teams
• Collaborate with software and electrical systems to define requirements for technology subsystems
• Develop current and future technology integration solutions
• Track the development of technology against program targets
• Coordinate the resolution of technology development issues
• Provide support for software testing, machine evaluation, and customer evaluation
