Production Technician in Canton MS

The Production Technician is responsible to assemble parts of manufactured products to form sections or finished products. Will work as part of a team at a workstation along an assembly line completing a designated section of the product before moving it along to the next station. This is completed by installing, mounting, fastening, aligning, wiring, connecting, soldering, sanding, painting, stitching, gluing, cutting, or shaping various product parts. Air powered tools or hand tools are used in many areas of assembly work. At some stations, technicians may operate large, automated equipment and their job is to keep the machines supplied with the necessary materials. High quality and high-volume work is expected.

Requirements:

• Willing to work any shift, including weekends if overtime is required
• Ability to lift up to 25 lbs.
• A minimum of 18 months of work experience or related technical programs/courses
• Manufacturing Work or Light Industrial experience is preferred
• Hard-working with the ability to stay focused, pay attention to detail, and perform repetitive tasks over long periods of time.
• Ability to stand for long periods of time  
• Follow all apparel guidelines specific to each department (i.e. long sleeves or coveralls in paint dept., etc.). 
• Safety conscious and able to work well with others.
• Successfully complete Pre-Employment assessment

Warehouse Operator in Multiple Locations

The Warehouse Associate is responsible for performing a combination of tasks related to the receipt, storage and shipment of automotive parts and accessories. Additionally, this role will contribute to building Nissan brand value and achieving enduring profitable growth.

Warehouse Operator Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Minimum 1+ years’ experience or related warehouse experience (receiving/stock-keeping or picking/packing)
• Ability to read and follow detailed instruction
• Ability to verify multi-digit part numbers 
• Ability to use computer to look up information utilizing NISSAN’s Warehouse Management System (WMS)
• Ability to physically perform all tasks listed in job functions, which may involve continuous use of mechanical controls requiring repetitive hand/arm motion and lifting up to 50 lbs. 

Preferred Qualifications:

• Forklift (HiLo) or Stand-Up Reach Truck experience

Facilities Skilled Maintenance Team Members' mission is to ensure that Powerhouse and other Plant equipment functions properly and efficiently thru continuous improvement, predictive and preventative maintenance, quick troubleshooting and repair activities (e.g. Boilers/Hot Water Heaters, Air Compressors, Chillers, HVAC, Waste Water Systems, High-Medium-Low Voltage distribution and switchgear, dock equipment, and building management automation systems).

Requirements & Skills:

• High School diploma or GED Equivalent required 
• Experience installing, operating, and maintaining industrial equipment.
• Experience troubleshooting and maintaining HVAC equipment with Universal, Type II or Type III certification a plus. 
• Strong electrical and mechanical knowledge.
• Team members are required to work rotating shifts and to support daily and weekend overtime.

Multi-Skilled Maintenance Team Member

Multi-Skilled Maintenance Team Members' mission is to ensure that production equipment functions properly and is available when needed through continuous improvement, predictive maintenance, quick troubleshooting and repair activities.

Requirements & Skills:

• Experience installing and maintaining industrial electrical and mechanical equipment.
• Strong Electrical, Mechanical, PLC, and Robotic systems knowledge.
• High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
• Team Members are required to work rotating shifts and to support daily and weekend overtime.

Tool & Die Team Member

Tool and Die skilled team members' mission is to maintain automotive stamping dies in a production atmosphere by utilizing die shop related equipment such as CNC mill, lathe, grinder and various other hand tools while remaining focused on continuous improvement, predictive maintenance, troubleshooting and repair activities while working in a safe and efficient manner.

Qualifications:

• Experience working in a Tool and Die role maintaining stamping dies utilizing techniques such as die spotting, punch fitting/entry, formability improvements and the ability to use related hand tools.
• Knowledge of sheet metal forming, trimming, piercing flanging and basic understanding of metallurgy related to sheet metal specifications.
• High school diploma or GED equivalent required.
• Preference of a Journeyman Tool and Die certificate or 8 years hands on experience.
• Team Members are required to work rotating shifts and to support daily and weekend overtime.
