2023 PPIA Virtual Graduate School & Career Fair
Presented in underwriting partnership with ProFellow
About PPIA
For more than 40 years, the Public Policy & International Affairs Program (PPIA) has cultivated relationships with some of the country’s leading academic and research institutions, creating a strong pipeline for careers in government, nonprofits, international organizations, and geopolitical settings.
Our mission is to cultivate the next generations of diverse public service and international affairs professionals by investing in their education, essential skills, and networks to effect global and domestic change.
PPIA’s programming centers on four core elements: the Junior Summer Institute (JSI), the Graduate School Consortium, Public Service Weekends (PSW) and an alumni association composed of over 4,000 JSI Fellows from across the U.S.
Our distinguished alumni have gone on to achieve great success, from the boardroom to the courtroom to the campaign trail and beyond. Learn more about PPIA's efforts at ppiaprogram.org.
Who Should Attend
The PPIA virtual fair brings together representatives from the nation’s top graduate programs in public policy and international affairs, and employers seeking highly qualified individuals, who are committed to public service under one roof. Undergraduates, graduate students, and professionals alike can benefit from the expertise and guidance they can access through this event.
Why Attend
Learn about the graduate school admissions process
Attendees of the PPIA Virtual Fair receive unparalleled access to decision-makers in the admissions process at the nation’s top policy schools. Prospective applicants have an opportunity to ask questions about various policy programs, what makes a strong candidate, and are able to carefully consider which programs align with their interests and careers.
Find fellowships, internships, and jobs in public policy and international affairs
As many graduate programs emphasize career experience as an essential part of a competitive application, the Expo encourages attendees to visit the various fellowship programs and employers that offer information about careers and internships in public service.
