Join us virtually on Nov. 14, 1–5 p.m. ET, to learn about DOE's Summer 2025 Science Undergraduate Laboratory Internships (SULI) and Community College Internships (CCI) programs! These stipend-based 10-week programs provide technical training and research opportunities at DOE national laboratories and other facilities. SULI and CCI are sponsored and managed by the DOE Office of Science’s Office of Workforce Development for Teachers and Scientists (WDTS).
During the event, representatives from DOE national laboratories and the WDTS office will be on hand to connect with attendees in 1-on-1 chats. Plus, we'll have a live informational session on the CCI and SULI programs.

About SULI
Each year, students from around the country participate in the Science Undergraduate Laboratory Internships (SULI) Program at one of the 17 participating DOE laboratories/facilities. In this comprehensive internship, you’ll be mentored by a leading science expert who will guide you in a specific research area to gain maximum exposure to one of the many science and technology areas that underpin the U.S. Department of Energy’s (DOE’s) diverse missions. This is an opportunity for you to enhance your professional network and develop your interests in state-of-the-art research facilities and to enhance your professional network.
SULI is a paid internship opportunity sponsored and managed by the DOE Office of Science’s Office of Workforce Development for Teachers and Scientists (WDTS) in collaboration with DOE laboratories/facilities. Students can participate in SULI either in a 10-week summer internship (May–August) or in a semester-long experience (August–December or January–May).
About CCI
The Community College Internships (CCI) Program is a paid internship opportunity that is sponsored and managed by the DOE Office of Science’s Office of Workforce Development for Teachers and Scientists (WDTS) in collaboration with DOE laboratories/facilities. Students participate in a 10-week summer internship (May–August) or in a 10-week internship during the semester (August–December or January–May).
