International Careers in Human Rights and the Rule of Law for Dutch Nationals

With participation of staff and recruiters from the Council of Europe (CoE), the Office of the United Nations High Commissioner for Human Rights (OHCHR), the European Union Agency for Fundamental Rights (FRA), and the International Criminal Court (ICC).

  • Live webinar tailored for Dutch nationals:
    Hear directly from representatives of CoE, OHCHR, FRA and ICC about their work, what they’re looking for candidates, and how you can prepare for a successful international career in human rights and the rule of law.
  • 1-on-1 chats with recruiters:
    Initiate 1-on-1 conversations with recruiters from participating organisations from your office, home, or while on the move (mobile-friendly platform).
  • Take action from the event: 
    The event will secure you career guidance and advice on how to prepare yourself for the application process of attending organisations. This will enable you to take action immediately after the event.

This free virtual event is a unique opportunity to connect directly with international human rights and rule of law institutions and take the next step in your career.

To join the event, you must:

  • Be a Dutch national.
  • Be fluent in English (Oral and Written).
  • Hold a Bachelor’s Degree as a minimum (please note, most positions will require a Masters’ Degree)
  • Have Maximum 7 years of relevant professional work experience (excluding internships).

and have an academic background in one of the following areas:

  • Law and Legal Studies
  • International and European Law
  • Political Science
  • International Relations and International Organizations
  • Public Administration and Governance
  • Criminology and Security Studies
  • Human Geography, Environmental Studies, Development Studies
  • Interdisciplinary programs such as PPE, PPLE, Global Studies
  • Data Science and Technology (where relevant to digital rights, cybersecurity, etc.)

Please note that some organisations may have additional requirements.
