Our primary care practices and specialty and surgery clinics are in need of professional and compassionate Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) and Medical Assistants (MAs) to help serve our pediatric community. We currently have a variety of different LPN and MA openings available throughout the health system.
- CHKD Medical Group: Twenty pediatrics practices in 31 locations throughout Virginia and North Carolina (Virginia Beach, Norfolk, Chesapeake, Suffolk, Newport News, Hampton, Williamsburg, Gloucester, and Elizabeth City, NC). These practices offer primary care to children from birth to age 21.
- CHKD Medical Specialties: Twenty-five pediatric specialty care programs that each treat a specific category of conditions. Our specialty clinics are located in 15 CHKD health centers spread across the region (Virginia Beach, Norfolk, Chesapeake, Suffolk, Newport News, and Williamsburg).
- CHKD Surgical Practices: Seven surgical practices providing diagnostic, therapeutic, and surgical care for a wide range of conditions in babies, children, and young adults (Virginia Beach, Norfolk, Chesapeake, Newport News, and Williamsburg).
CHKD is a Level One pediatric trauma center with a newly renovated state-of-the-art NICU unit, and dedicated units for intensive care and cancer care. The most comprehensive pediatric system in Virginia, we provide inpatient, outpatient, trauma, and emergency care across a multitude of subspecialties.
