In celebration of Women’s History Month, join AWS for our signature INVITE-ONLY AWS Celebration of Women in Tech: a Two-Part Event, Panel & GameDay hosted by AWS Women at Solution Architecture Affinity Group & the AWS Sales, Marketing, and Global Services (SMGS) Organization.

PANEL
Learn from a panel of AWS Technical Women Leaders as we focus on the United Nations’ International Women’s Day Theme of “Invest in Women: Accelerate Progress”. You will learn more about the innovative and exciting work that our women leaders engage in on a daily basis here at AWS along with insights into our culture and what it’s really like to work at AWS. Our panelists will share their career journeys and how they have broken the glass ceiling, along with imparting actionable insights to support you in not only surviving but THRIVING in your career pathway.
GAMEDAY
Play with AWS services in a team-based game with like-minded women in tech, solving real-world problems for Unicorn.Rentals (a fictional company), and compete for prizes. Unlike traditional workshops, GameDays are open-ended and non-prescriptive to give participants the freedom to explore and think outside the box.

Please note, there are no strict technical requirements for attending/registering for GameDay, however some familiarity with AWS and the AWS Console is recommended.

You will be able to enjoy the event thoroughly if you review the services involved in the Game Day shared below.

There will be help and support available from AWS Solutions Architects in case you are stuck All you need to bring is an open minded learning attitude to have fun!
- We will have prizes for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place winners.
