Overview of the Event

This event will host top students to participate in an exciting upskilling and networking event alongside some of Amazon's best Software Developers.

The event is for students pursuing computer science (or related) degrees, and who are interested in software or systems development internship opportunities in Berlin, Germany. The event is primarily for women interested in a career in technology, but is open to all.

 Attendees will also have the opportunity to be fast-tracked through the recruitment process for a Software Development Engineer Internship by being interviewed by Amazonian Software Development Engineers and completing the internship interview loop at the event.  This will involve a technical/ live coding interview and a competency interview.

 

This 1 day event aims to develop student employability and software/ systems engineering skills. Students will meet Amazonians, expand their professional network and gain insight into what Software Development Engineers do on a day-to-day-basis. Students will also have the chance to take part in coding exercises and other technical workshops, gain interview skills and watch panel discussions on careers available at Amazon.

In the afternoon, attendees will meet out Software Engineers and will interview for a Software Development Engineer Internship for 2026. 

Please note: attendees will be required to bring a laptop with them to the event to use throughout the day.

When does the event take place?

The event is scheduled for 14 May 2025. 

Where is the event being hosted?

The 1 day event will take place in the Amazon Berlin Office.  Exact address will be shared closer to the time.

Am I eligible to apply? 

Amazon welcomes applications from all, however the events are targeted towards those who are currently enrolled in an undergraduate degree in computer science, computer engineering, informatics or other related fields at university and due to graduate in summer of 2027. The ideal attendee will have a strong academic record, be passionate about computing and technology, and looking for an internship in 2026 in Germany.

Please ensure your CV includes (1) your full name, (2) email address, (3) degree title, (4) university, (5) anticipated exam results and projected grades, (6) expected graduation date, and (7) information about your coding experience.
