Overview of the Event

This event will host top students to participate in an exciting upskilling and networking event alongside some of Amazon's best Software Developers.

The event is for students pursuing computer science or related degrees, and who are interested in building a career as a software development engineer. The event is primarily to encourage women students to build a career in technology, but is open to all.

WHAT TO EXPECT ON THE DAY

This one-day event aims to develop student employability and software engineering skills. Students will meet Amazonians, expand their professional network and gain insight into what Software Development Engineers do on a day-to-day-basis. Students will also have the chance to take part in technical workshops, gain interview skills and watch a panel discussion featuring recent graduates at Amazon.

Please note: attendees will be required to bring a laptop with them to the event to use throughout the day.

Amazon welcomes applications from all, however the event is targeted towards those who are currently enrolled in a Bachelor's or Master's degree in computer science, computer engineering, informatics or other related fields at university and due to graduate between August 2026 - December 2027.

Do I need a laptop for this event?

Yes, attendees will be required to bring a laptop with them to the event to use throughout the day. A HackerRank account will also be required - there is no fee for setting it up.
